These terms apply to the Getawaze website and the Getawaze app, operated by Getawaze (“we”, “us”). By using them you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

What Getawaze is

Getawaze helps groups of friends plan trips together: create a trip, invite people you know, compare availability and vote on a destination. Core planning, including creating and joining trips, is free. Any optional paid features will be clearly labeled before you pay for them.

Getawaze is a planning tool. It does not sell travel, book flights or accommodation, or move money between members. Any link to a third-party provider takes you to that provider, whose own terms apply.

Your account

You sign in with an Apple or Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Getawaze, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
You can delete your account at any time. See deleting your account.

Your content

Trip names, availability, votes and anything else you add belong to you. You give us permission to store and display them so the people in your trip can see them. Only invite people you know, and only share what you are comfortable sharing with the rest of the trip.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Getawaze to harass anyone, to break the law, to send spam, or to interfere with the service or other people’s accounts.

Availability and changes

Getawaze is still evolving. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. We will try to give notice of significant changes.

Disclaimer and liability

Getawaze is provided “as is”. Trip plans, dates and prices shown by other members or third parties are their responsibility, not ours. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Getawaze at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
